Preparation
Abada (Capoeira trousers) clean and ready
Cordão (cord/belt) correctly tied
Train barefoot – Capoeira is practised without shoes
Warm-up
Practise the basic Ginga movement lightly (10 min)
Stretches for hips, back and shoulders
Practise Au (cartwheel) and Negativa (backward evasion) lightly
Technique Training
Attacks: Armada, Meia-lua, Queixada, Martelo, Bencao
Evasions: Ginga, Esquiva, Negativa, Au
Ground work: Rolé, Queda de rins, Ponte (bridge)
Acrobatics: Au sem mão (no-hand cartwheel), Macaco, S-dobrando
